no more steroids

Aaron took his last dose of steroids yesterday, we are so glad to be off them! not only was he very hyper but also such a dare devil he got quite unsafe at times! to my relief we now have our boy back, still a busy toddler full of beans but in a normal way! Now we wait and see if the fix holds, it is similar to when he was on the elemental diet via the ng tube, that fixed the inflammation but the medication did not hold that fix. Now we see if this new medication added on top of the old will keep him asymptomatic.....
In himself he is feeling well, no mouth ulcers finally no knee pain no red eye, some stomach ache, no constipation or diarrhea, yay!
Appointments are drastically reduced in the last few weeks, Josh is a little better, Ethan's ears are finally showing some improvement!
We are spending 2 nights at the Alton Towers hotel over half term, funnily enough not for Alton Towers itself but for a good rest - great pool+slide complex, buffet  breakfast kid friendly etc
After half term we have several
more appointments looming for both Josh and Aaron, plus blood tests etc
