2nd week

1st up was urology, a 7.15 train meant an early start to get there in time for our early appointment. Sh was happy with his progress and will discuss with the consultant (and when she has tracked down last weeks test results...) and get back to me for a medicine reduction trial.

Fortunately Wednesday's appointment for Aaron was changed to the Thursday "in case any intervention is needed" which meant Tom and I could take both the boys up on the same day for their appointments, they even adjusted Aaron's times so we could fit both in!
Surgical review was fine, no changes to the ultrasound, but no great ideas as to what causes/ treatment/imaging would help sort him out. She said she'd have a think and a talk to the surgeon and come back to us with any ideas but i won't hold my breath :(


Aaron's appointment was held in a wing we hadn't been to for a few ears when Josh was having different over night studies; scopes, pill cams, reflux probes etc. After pondering over what interventions were possible, she had a long talk with us a feel of his tummy and knee (and bunny's!) but didn't really look at any other things we had noticed, was just happy to take our word for it.

If his symptoms flare again (they have stopped) we will consider upping the steroids for a bit until the azathioprine kicks in as this can take a few months. They took another poo sample from us and more bloods. He REALLY screamed for these from before they even started, he's getting a bit phobic i think, luckily he has the coming week off as they will do 2 weekly, then monthly from now.
 For now Aaron seems to be doing well, Josh is the one with more symptoms; 7 bouts of diarrhea yesterday
