Cardiology

i started investigations again for why the tachycardia is no longer controlled by the medication. consult and ECG.

physio

for my finger injury. lots of exercises, braces, splints etc. not sure it'll ever completely recover but lots of progress made and sessions with the physio slowly went from weekly to now monthly

St Helier Gastro

more discussion on Josh's symptoms and started him on cycled antibiotics again, this time amoxicillin, and planned for a repeat breath test to see if we can get control over the bacetrial overgrowth in his bowel.

GOS Gastro

frustrating appointment probably largely due to Josh's notes being lost and therefore having discussions the same as at our last appointment, and requesting the same tests be done again!

Audiology

Aaron has fluid in his ears which they are monitoring . Ethan has fluid in his left ear (glue) and some associated hearing loss. For this as he has had 4 sets of grommets he is being fitted with a hearing aid this Thursday.

Urology

Josh completed a 2 day input and output measurement of fluids at home, and then did a bladder function assessment at GOS. He then had a follow up appointment to discuss these. Again his main notes are still missing and the results from the assessments not passed on either. a slightly frustrating appointment, but still able to tell his bladder has quite a small capacity for his age (although improving). He has a new medicine to try and needs to drink even more fluid!

Echo cardiogram

This morning, for me, all looks fine, appointment to discuss all the tests etc in April

So its been a busy term, with something medical every week, and the past 2 weeks, 4 appointments a week (Aaron had a virus too)! Hopefully next term is looking clearer and will stay that way, although i know a breath test, MRI, cardio and gastro are still pending.....
