Endoscopies

So we had the scopes done, difficult day for Josh as he wasn't allowed solid food after 4 just clear liquid sorts so he had clear soup, lemon jelly and a boiled sweet for dinner. Then the next day he had no food or drink but this was also following "bowel prep" medication which is not pleasant as it clears you out for the scope very thoroughly so Josh had very bad diarrhea seeing as he usually has a fair amount anyway. The end result was a very wan, weary Josh who just wanted cuddles and to go back to bed and kept crying. He went for his scopes at 2pm, after a little wobble he cheered up when they showed him you drive to theatre in an electric car!!! i was happy as i got to speak to his usual doctor both before and after the procedure. He recovered well with a bit of a sore throat and tiredness the next morning. Biopsies were taken so we are waiting until the 23rd for the results of those really but initial observations looked to be ok in the upper scope and the same finding as before in the lower, that of lymphonodular hyperplasia. normally an allergic response but i don't know to what considering his strict diet! next plan MRI not sure when
