Summer

a nice long summer holidays full of DIY and outings and a break in the Isle of Wight, nice to have all boys relatively well and no tube feedings!
Medically since I last posted Aaron has had skin prick tests following on from the hives he experienced, all were negative and he has had all medication since, so the conclusion was a one off unexplained urticaria.
The boys went back to school happily this week, including Ethan starting secondary school and getting to grips with all that entails!
Day 2 of term was a joint appointment for Josh and Aaron, can't do much about timing!
Josh has had increased symptoms for about 6 months so we are looking into that with some stool tests for inflammation etc, probiotic drops to treat or maybe an increase in his medication if not successful, and a small bowel MRI .
Aaron is starting to metabolise one of his medications in the wrong/toxic way so we are looking into changing to a lower dose and adding in another medicine to boost its effects. He also needs blood tests to look into vasculitis which is probably unlikely but he has a few symptoms of and can be connected to the crohns. He is back to having daily diarrhea but we are not sure why yet.
