After not enough improvement and the continued pain fluid loss and bleeding, Aaron was started on a few more medicines; lansoprazole to reduce stomach acid, mesalazine suppositories to try and target a specific area and the  prednisolone a steroid. Finally he stopped having diarrhea and started to get better and have more energy. The energy effects of the steroids were less than previously, i suspect due to how little energy he had to start with, so not too crazy at all, just emotional and mood swings especially when tired.

School have taken on most of Aaron's day feeds since half term which has freed me up a lot.
He continues on with the extremely painful humira/adalimumab injections fortnightly it remains to be seen whether this will stabilise him longer term as we will have tp wait until he was weaned off the steroids and started solid foods again to see how he gets on.

He is tolerating the ng tube very well considering, he certainly likes the every 5 day prize and every 7 day candyfloss treat! not to mention being allowed to use his dummy!! a few more weeks left, might start some solids by Easter. however he is due a tube change on friday which he won't enjoy
