Finally we heard back from Aaron (and Josh's) new Dr after trying to contact someone regarding his low iron levels, a phone call at home at ten to 8!! He was very helpful and chatty, he has advised Aaron starts taking an iron supplement, wants him on a folic acid supplement as this can be a problem with the medication he is on, wants him to increase the dosage of the medicine as his calprotectin inflammatory marker was raised, he hopes this will ease his knee pain too, which he suspects is inflammation related. So that's what to do tomorrow sorted out, phone calls by between the GP who he wants to prescribe it and this consultant!
