how's it going?

Just to update, we are just over a week in, but not counting down the days as we all know how things change and we don't want to be disappointed. He is tolerating it well, no crying now at feeds although he does squirm a bit as it makes his tummy feel funny, he enjoys being able to watch so many DVDs, this week aristocats many times a day! He is sleeping better at night, although we had a close call one morning at 4am with the tube 1/2 out, i bravely put it back in..... ew! and we are also up late doing the last feed and up promptly to begin the day with a feed. We now have a pump to do the feeds and despite it taking longer and it being a new gadget to get the hang of, it allows us to be semi mobile (pushchair) and hands free ish, which is great. Getting out can be a logistical nightmare working out when and where everyone is going to eat, and Aaron sleep, but we have managed some basic outings.

Our day! Get up, prep feed, boys and Tom hide in kitchen and have breakfast whilst i feed Aaron in the lounge with a DVD for approx 1/2 hr. Another feed 10.30, sleep before feeding again at 1.30, and whilst he's asleep we eat lunch. feed again at 4.30 before he goes for a walk to the park or something whilst i cook for and feed the boys tea, feed at 7pm before bed the other boys going up either side of him and maybe a bath on a really good day! quick dinner for us and a little bit of quiet time if he settles between 8 and 10 before getting ready for the last feed on our way to be bed at about 10.30-11

Josh had another episode of blood in his poo last weekend so Tom went to drop a sample off at Epsom but they decided they wanted urine and bloods too so Josh was not happy, they talked about admitting him but sensibly decided he was too well! still waiting to hear back from them ....
waiting to hear when different appointments are for Aaron too....
